Broad outline of role:
- To carry out inspection and quality assurance activities across incoming materials, in-process production and finished products to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, procedures and customer requirements.
- Supporting safe, right-first-time manufacture by identifying defects early, maintaining accurate records, escalating non-conformances and contributing to continuous improvement in quality, safety and environmental performance
Key Requirements:
- Experience in a quality inspection or quality assurance role
- Experience working within modular construction and/or caravan manufacturing
- Understanding of ISO 9001 principles
- Internal auditor awareness or quality training
- Experience in manufacturing environments
- Basic understanding of environmental and safety controls
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Attention to detail and ability to identify defects and deviations
