Fabrication Team Leader

Job Duties:
- Lead and supervise a team of fabrication workers
- Ensure production targets are met efficiently and safely
- Plan and schedule work orders to meet deadlines
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills
- Maintain quality standards and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise production processes
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of fabrication techniques and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing role, with 1-2 years in a leadership position.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant vocational or technical qualifications
- Certification in leadership or management
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Personal protective equipment will be provided.
