KFM Recruitment is excited to announce an opportunity for Machine Operators at a well-established client based in the Market Weighton area. This is a temporary-to-permanent position for the right candidate, offering excellent potential for progression based on performance.
The Role:
- Shift Pattern: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Nights) – 4 on, 4 off
- Responsibilities:
- Understand and adhere to food hygiene, safety, and allergen protocols
- Follow site hygiene rules, including hand washing and hygiene barriers
- Ensure the product is correctly bagged and palletised
- Set up, operate, and clean automated packing machinery
- Setting up, running and monitoring drying machines
- Use in-house computer systems for stock control and labelling
- Operate electric pallet trucks and forklifts (training provided)

The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a production environment
- Reliable transportation to Market Weighton
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Forklift experience (counterbalance) is desirable, but not essential (training available)
