Job Title: Stores Operative / FLT Driver (Counterbalance)
Location: HU3 Area
Salary: £12.80 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break)
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in the HU3 area for a reliable and hardworking Stores Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) licence. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role within a busy non-food warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
⦁ Managing goods-in processes, including unloading deliveries
⦁ Assisting with stock control and inventory management
⦁ Supporting the team during annual stock takes
⦁ General warehouse duties as required
Requirements:
⦁ Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
⦁ Previous Goods-In experience
⦁ Strong stock control experience
⦁ Ability to work in a physically demanding role
⦁ Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) – essential for stock handling and documentation
